Here is a sample startup script for my OC4J:
cd $HOME/oc4j/j2ee/home
java
-Djavax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory=org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl
-Djavax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory=org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl
-Djavax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory=org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl
-jar oc4j.jar
Xalan and Xerces libraries should be placed under JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext and remember to give at least read access to the account running the OC4j container.
Harri,
ReplyDeleteI have the same requirement of using Xerces and Xalan for my application to make it run on standalone OC4J 10.1.2.0.2. I tried that solution you propose by was getting the NoClassDefError. I did place the xerces and xalan jars in the jre\lib\ext.
There is a -Xbootclasspath solution which ORCL proposes. that did nto work for me. Are you saying your solution is better?
Please advise.
